In most cases we can perform this procedure under local anaesthetic.
The procedure is performed with two tiny incisions – one at the elbow and the other in the back armpit crease. These heal very well and are no conspicuous.
The arm garment is worn for 2 weeks full time and then 2 weeks during the day.
MLD is recommending the next day for 3-5 sessions.
If there is any doubt that the skin will not contract then we recommend having an arm lift.
